A: Our regular classes run from Sept-May, so similar to the school year. Dancers register for the entire year, which begins with technique work, conditioning, and getting in shape. Then we progress to learning choreography for holiday performances or competitions, and the year culminates with our fully produced Spring Recitals, held at the end of May, which is the highlight of our year.

A: Our fall classes begin the week of Sept. 9th

A: The easiest way is by going to our Manage My Account page and creating an account for your dancer in our easy to navigate Parent Portal.  Once you create your dancer's profile, the available classes for their age group will show up as options to register for the class or for a trial class. Please note, registration for classes is not quite complete unless payment is made. If you'd rather pay in the studio, just send us a message. It's no problem! 

A: We believe in kids being able to express themselves as individuals, so we do not have a specific dress code, although we do ask that they wear dance attire, including leotards, tights, dance skirts, leggings, dance shorts, athletic wear, etc. that allows ease of movement and instructors to be able to teach correct technique and alignment.

A: Yes! We fit and order shoes through the studio, and we would be very happy to help you out with all your dance shoe needs!

A: Please reference our registration form found on our Classes Page to find our tuition table. It is found on the second page of our registration form and tuition is determined by the number of dance classes taken per family. Our base rate is $70 per hour, and that decreases by every additional half hour. We also offer discounts for paying for the entire year or semester, as well as Dance Star unlimited class rates for dancers as well as a Dance Star Family Rate.

A; Yes, absolutely! These can be registered for in the Parent Portal or by contacting our office. All dancers coming in for a trial class will be paired with a buddy for the day and will receive a free gift for coming to try out a class at DSD!
